Thread: How does customizing effect value on CT90

I have a CT90 that I customized by painting everything a dull black. I also added a cm91 motor that I had lying around (only had 100 miles on it...funny story). All of the parts that looked bad I replaced with new.

What did that do the the sellability of the bike and its value?
Here is a pic of what it started off like. I will add a pic later of what it is now.

If you don't get an answer here try this site...It is for the 90's and 110's. I have a Trail 55 and I love it. Have you read about Nathan and Dot? I have a '71 CT90 . Bought from the original owner . Plan to restore this winter .
I am going to keep mine as close to original as possible . Seems like most guys like them that way , Although this was a big bike for the hunter's . I would guess that a collector would pay more for an original restore . IMO .

going for the stealth look i guess? Sounds stealthtacular. Got no idea on value as here in australia ct90's(and ct110's) are everywhere, and worth sweet f a. Looked good in the before pics
