Thread: Asian Honda KO seats

What happened to these ? Did anyone try them,they looked pretty decent.Was they really Asian Honda or a copycat ? Hmmmmm

I hope so, I was about to buy one, then I see he's not around. I emailed him to find out, Vdross bought at least one and liked it

I bought 3 of those seats . No problems . Wonder where they went ?

I hope they don't disappear! I bought one too and thought it by far the best out there. Also asked him about availability through eBay.

Are you guys talking about the hondaclassic31 guy? He's still on eBay and his own site. I've only heard good things about him.

I just checked his listing i had saved and he doesn't show anything listed on Ebay.His Ebay name is motorcycle-parts-inc
I sent him a message,we'll see if he responds.

Most of those seat sellers are in third world countries and are in no way part of Honda. They work out of those countries to hide from copyright laws and labor is cheap. They can turn maximum profits. I think putting "Asian Honda" on his boxes and plastic wrap was begging for a beat down. Once Ebay and Honda find out they usually take swift actions to crush them. I hope this isn't the case here because I had nearly talked myself into buy one of his K2-79 complete seats.

In all my travels in my 20 plus years in the Navy nearly all the poor economical countries crank out all kinds of counterfeit stuff. In most cases it cheap, doesn't look, or work right and doesn't last long. These seats appeared to be different. I hope he survives and I'm wrong about his disappearance.

I got one from them. Dealt w/a guy named Eric. He made me this one custom to my design and description. Good quality real nice

Those are the Vietnam guys, Liked there product, bought 3 seats from them but had problems with one and the shipping is quite high, wanted to try these new seats, hope they come back, they are shipped from the US, more reasonable and have heard good reports

I was going to pop for one of them this winter for the HKO.
But am just going to have RacerX redo the seat pan and I'll
redo the cover. Probably have more into it than a aftermarket
seat, but it'll be a stock seat.
