Deal or No Deal... 1977 CT70K3 for $650

I found this guy who has 1977 CT70 for sale. He said it was a K3 with a little over 2000 miles on it. He has repainted it, so it is not the original color, but everything else is in excellent condition. Im not sure if he put the right decals on it for the year, but i figure the paint and decals i can change. Is this a good deal for $650? Thanks!!!

It looks like he was trying to make a 1970 KO model out of a 1977. The decals and ruby red color is for the KO. 650 bucks is a good deal as long as it shifts and runs good.

Those blinks are hard to find if they are original. The head looks kinda new or aftermarket (squarish fins). Aftermarket pipe guard and carb. I wonder what he has replaced on the engine or if its the original. All in all it looks good to me for $650. Maybe you can work on him and get the price down.

Looks great! However '77 & K3 don't line up. I'm thinking it very well may be a '78 since it has that style carburetor. Yes, worth $650.

Any chance you could get its vin?

The more I look at this it looks like a clone trying to be the real deal. Look at the back sprocket. It’s tiny. No rear break bar lever or linkage details.

From what I’ve seen the clones go for about $600-$800 new.

    I agree..The sprocket,horn,side badges,carb,plug guard,handlebars and controls are the same as the 78.

No . I would say that's a Honda -- clone shocks & exhaust -- but mostly Honda stuff . If it runs decent , should be a good price .
    Just a couple CT70's **
