Man I can't believe all the negative comments on the CHP seat. It is the BEST repro seat on the market by far. It is still absent of the shock radius on the sides but far far better in quality than any others bar none.

The material is awesome. The grain is superb and the thing is tight as they come. All around fantastic.

In comparison to the 3 seat I purchased from the 3 other vendors theres is absolutely no comparison.

Please feel free to contact me if you like.

No I have no affiliation with CHP. It's a great product and the purpose for the post is to offer my humble opinion one something that I have always struggled with sourcing over the last decade.

It's far better than the POS stuff floating around. An the source is an American living in Texas not Malaysia or India or wherever.

Are you sure? You sound like a paid advertisement for CHP. I'm a fan of the Asian Honda seat. All three of the leading KO seat providers are nice and have a few flaws but, some are easier to deal with than others.

You guys are funny. Show me one of the seats you say are better than this seat. I have three and they are all pretty crappy.

I was just trying to help you guys. There seems to be a consensus here the we are in need of a good seat. My interest is in helping forum members that's all.

I am truly sorry for bringing this up.

My 17 years collecting these bikes apparently netted no knowledge of the hobby.

    Have a nice Thanksgiving.

Supporting a US company who has invested heavily in the tooling for this seat is also important to me. I guess that makes me a good American too.

The stamp on the bottom is there so no one can say that a crappy seat they have was made by CHP.

    Frank,
I would be interested if you could talk to them about leaving off the stamp. I have seen that seat/seat pan and they are very nice. See what you can work out and if so, count me in.

The stamp is a slight kiss. It could very easily be filled with primer.
