Thread: What's the buzz on the latest repop seats??

At the bottom of my post is a link to a really good thread on the KO seat subject. At the end are photos of the new CHP seats. Not nearly as good as I had hope. I believe the best seat currently available is made by "Asian Honda" and they are selling on Ebay occasionally. The only flaw I can see is that they are missing is the vertical stitching near the back sides. Other than that the shape, botton placement, shock divits, and seam spacing is close enough not to get hung up on. The thread has photos of the top three seats currently available.

Thanks! Been watching them - that's cheap! Original guy wants a buck-fifty but oh free shipping!

I have a CHP seat on the way. I don't think the picture on the other thread does seat justice. I have bought at least 15 of the CHP seats in the past and have be very happy. When the seat gets here I will place it on a bike and take some shots.

Pictures are always good. I was wondering if it is the same seat as CHP gets a premium price. If they are the same, it would be hard to beat the Asian Honda product for around $100.

I am always looking for K0 seat pans and they are definitely hard to come by. This would be a nice affordable, time saving alternative to welding cracked and rusted 40 year old seat pans and going through the restoration process.

Is it possible that these come from a Honda mfg. plant in China? There is a Honda website that bears the Honda Asia name.
