    silica rectifier and rectifier

alright i have both of these i have the silica rectifier i believe correct me if i am wrong which is the one that looks like a blinker relay, and i have the battery box rectifier.

The silica rectifier has red/white stripe wire, and green wire. The battery box rectifier has green and orange or red(cant tell if it is red or orange it is faded)

Can someone please explain the difference. I know i have to use both but how do both rectifiers connect to the harness or the bike? Please dont be shy i need to know in order to have bike all wired up finally.

I now have the silica rectifier connected which connect right to the harness

i saw someone wiring it up like this

instead of this i have the silica rectifier connected to the battery instead is this correct the way he has it?

You should only have one rectifier. Doesn't matter which type, but you only need one.

The other thing that looks like a blinker relay may be just that. If your bike originally came with blinkers, it would have one. Are there blinker controls on your handlebars?

yes the bike does have blinker switches on the handlebar. I got it now like i said previously i just thought i was more complicated than it really is. I am just to working on my old cbr i used to have you guys know how much of a pain those can be. I love these bikes they are so simple!!!!!
