I've re-sized them for XR forks you need to take them and have them bored at a machine. They need to perfect to get them to hold and be safe.

My Trailbuddy also sells triple trees for those forks. They're not that expensive, so just be aware of the machining cost vs the cost of a new one from trailbuddy. Of course, the ones from trailbuddy need to be painted also.

I had it done for 40 by a local guy who runs a machine shop. I only saved 20 over the price of the trailbuddy tripple tree but I like the idea of maintaining the stock Honda part.

Not worth attempting without the benifit of specialized equipment though. You want a smoth surface and to avoid chewing up the material on the edges of the gap at the pinch bolt.

i have done it to my clamp to fit ct110 forks. I used a tungsten carbide burr to open them up, i just took my time and slowly and evenly opened up the holes until the forks finally fit

The trailbuddy clamp does not have a threaded hole for the third bolt on the fender and the casting looks rough. I have one somewhere if you need one.

    Completed

I stopped by a machine shop, $40.00 and a perfect fit.

    Thanks,

Good deal. I went the other route and bought the new one from My Trail Buddy, and I can confirm the triple trees are a little rough, and the machining on them isn't the best, as mentioned earlier. I think you made the right choice.
