The Landfill Special: 1971 K0, circa November 2011. I tore it down to nuts and bolts and that’s how it remains as of March 2024. That was also two moves and five jobs ago. The bike did have handlebars, but they were from a bicycle and had an ATV throttle clamped to them.

154 miles on the odometer. Went on a 25 Mile drive. Farthest I've been from the house.
Worked on a 700 lb Harley fatboy yesterday. Girlfriends uncle bought it and I went over it and got it running for him. Made my honda feel like bmx bike. 😂🤣

Rebuilding a CT70K1. Got it running with new battery, I had purchased some new bulbs and they were working. I started the bike and noticed headlight is fluctuating with the RPM of the engine. Is this right? After, I had a new Chinese bulb burnt out.
I just bought a CT 70. The seller said it was a 71, the sticker said it was made in October of 70 and the frame number shows it should be a 1973. I am just trying to figure out what I have so when I go to buy parts. Frame number CT70-220051 Engine #CT70E-219540. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I came across a old post of yours and you mentioned that you raced VW air cooled cars. That was something I enjoyed myself for a long time, although I didn't race much but did race the 1/8 mile at a track near my house with a Baja bug I built, I had a big 2276 with a t-4 turbo and would go tease all the Hondas, vets, mustangs and a bunch of hot rods .

That's cool, If your interested in seeing some of the cars I have built send me your email. After my Baja bug I built a Manx body offroad & street car that i currently drive, I run a 300 H/P turbo subaru motor in it . Got tired of having to open up VW motors.

Man I've had dozens and dozens of VW's. Bugs, Ghias, bajas, type 3's, buggies, even a fiberfab GT40, but never a bus, worked on a lot of them though. How hard was the Subie conversion?

It was real easy, I bought a adapter from Kennedy's , they make them for just about any motor to adapt to any transmission. This is my email kk6rgn@gmail,com. Send me a email if you wish and I can send you some of the stuff i built and still have, My manx I built 14 years ago was built for mostly for offroad
I have a ST90 that runs very good in general, however lately after running around the yard and up and down the subdivision I head out on a county road for around one mile to two miles and it shuts down . Like it runs out of fuel or floods out just after slowing down . I have 75 micron fuel filters on it ,which seem fine since it runs good before I go long distance , any ideas what is causing this.
Got message
can't get to 50 could be altitude/6800'. Probably at 45.
going to try carb & 42 sprocket. Not use to clutchless shifting seems difficult. could drive me to 125. Or bigger motor but info I have on140 cc (600.00) is it doesn't really just bolt up. was hoping boring out to whatever can be done would be symple op. Still investigating that.
Wish I had a 125 but will work with what I have.
I really dont care who is who anymore. I see them as allllllllllll corrupt. Scratch my back, I scratch yours. They are seperating all of us. I am broken hearted that we are being sperated because of political views.

HI Everyone! It's been a long time since I've been active here!

I have a 1973 Mighty Green ST90 (ST-1002785) I'm thinking about selling off or trading for an early 2000's XR250. I haven't fired it up in a while but it ran great when I did have it going. DM me if you are interested. I'm in VT and would prefer local purchase.
