NO WAY IS THAT MY TICKET! Sorry if I gave that impression. The Bet was placed by a local here in Town.
I didn't place a bet with the sport books because the bookies are really hard to beat and this guy nearly lost his $8K it was close game.

In the summer bowl yes. But that bet was made in January so likely be for the first round of playoff games so it could likely have been 25/1. Ravens are my team.This year i won on Lloyd scoring the first TD at 10/1 odds. But i only won #200. That $200,000 win would have been nuts.

Must be nice to have millions to throw around like that.
My biggest win was picking the Ravens to make the playoffs after week 3 (they were 1-2) in Joe Flacco's first year. Ended up winning $1,500.
I know nothing about boxing for UFC.

Anyway the bookies have all the angles covered. If I'm at a casino, I only play table games; Texas hole em, Craps, Black jack & only $5 tables.
I rarely go there, most locals don't. :3:

Thats what I have heard most locals stay out of gambling. Its us outsides that keep that place afloat. We usually go out there for March madness and first round of football playoffs do some crazy parlays and hope for the best. However, laughlin is closer to us so we have been going there as of late. Thats where you go to strictly gamble- there aint nothing else to do there. At least Vegas has some other night life there than gaming.
I usually go for a week in July too for a work conference that puts me up at Caesar's. I usually make a point to get off the strip and go to different restaurants every night. Went to the Pawn Stars place...
But I do like those crap tables. Do Not Pass Line- and Dont Come bets with odds. Everyone else always hates you for playing that but I am the one usually walking away with some money.
I like Hold em just cant stand the house rake. I'd rather play a game with friends for a $20 buy in tournament style, drink some beers, and shoot the shit.

I play 5 on the pass w/$10 odds, load the come bet & hope for the best. Yeah there's always someone like you betting against us, lol. The first year here I'd go to casinos (like all newbies). I broke the hold,em table once 12hrs play 9pm - 9am took $540. 12 hour shift. Being a pro gambler takes patience which I don't have, besides I don't like hanging out with those types, life's to short for that :27: plus gets on your nerves after a while. :3:

Im not betting against you per say... I am betting for the best odds. I dont cheer when a 7 comes up, I give a little fist pump under the table, throw down some hard ways for me and the dealers and keep going.

7 is a win on the come out roll, after point is met, I set my dice before I throw. Horn bets are the worst odds for craps.

Yup the only time a 7 wins for the "normal" people is the come out. Otherwise Im taking the money you guys all lost
But yeah if someone hits their point (say a 9) and I still have my money on the numbers I got on the dont come bets I cheer like hell for a 7. Because I win BIG, and everyone else wins their pass line bets. A lot of the betters dont understand the game and dont understand why I won on my dont come bets after the point was met and when the roller throws a 7 on the come out. One guy kept saying "Thats bullshit, thats not fair" when I would win that way and the dealer said, "Go to the library, get a book, and learn to play- see this guy Im sure that is how he learned" and sure enough thats exactly what I did.
I set mine to 2 and 3 and I seem to roll a 7 a lot. Im not a fan of the horn bets. But I like the hardways $1 each and throw down a $1 for the dealer to throw down and the dealers will like you. After you start betting for the dealers (and I usually stand on the corner right next to one) they give you tips and make sure you know your normal bets are off etc...
A lot of the times I will just play the dont come bet (and then put odds on the numbers) and leave the dont pass line open unless of course I am the shooter.
My friend likes to throw down a nickle yo a lot... and hell if he seems to win a lot on that. Next to poker craps is my favorite game. But I rarely play poker in vegas because we usually start drinking right away and me and poker and booze dont mix.
