Don't expect a swift mailing of your plate either. It's been a week since they cashed the check and the plate hasn't arrived.

Got my app back today in the mail. Somehow I had the wrong amount? Instead of $74 they needed $79.40 which doesnt make much sense to me but whatever new check new stamp and off it goes.

Huh? An extra $5.40??? I would certainly not debate the clerk over that amount for what we're getting but I'd sure like to know where that error is on their DMV Form 119.

It used to be Vermont State Penitentiary convicts that ran the DMV Help Desk hot line. No, I'm not kidding though I'm not sure they still run it.

Those folks sure were a chatty bunch. Very helpful and knowledgeable though.

Yeah not a big deal. Just a waste of a check and stamp but thats a small price to pay I guess! Aint no biggie.

I guess who knows. I guess that means they prices my bike at $590. $590*.06+44=$79.40.

Sweet man! I am hoping that since they have already picked apart my app they will just get my check Tues or Wed cash it and then sound out the plate. So many in 10 days or so I will have a plate.

If so, then it will be onto round2 of applying for a plate :)

I took the bike for a ride to my friend's house, about 3/4 of a mile away. Wishing is gone, reality is here!

Vermont cashed the 2nd check (first one had an incorrect amount) for my red K0 on Friday, eleven days from the date I sent it in. I'll be keeping an eye on the mail box.

Well Im jealous- they still havent cashed my first check..

And if you sent your app back again on the 23rd of March I count 15 days. Im on day 12.

FINALLY- my first check was cashed. Yes!

Now the wait for the plate commences.

It would be pretty sweet if they cash my second check soon.
