What happened to the box of the little round guys? I like using those. I think there were about a 100 of them.

There are still 40 or so to select from.. I wasn't able to bring over every smilie from vbulletin, but I did bring back the popular CT70 dudes. If you don't see them when using the quick reply, make sure you click/tap the smilie icon in the text editor bar. It's tight next to the picture and video icons.
