Honda Z50 Silver Tag???

Need to know if anyone can tell me if this is a silver tag bike. On the steering neck looks like there was a vin tag but it’s gone and there are no river holes either.

Yes it is. No rivet holes is a very good indicator. The 164... Vin # too, is definitely a indicator. Pretty sure silvertags went well up over 200... on the Z50s

Yes it is. Looks to not have had too rough of a life if the tail light mount is still there. Be sure to check the frame rails by the battery box for cracks.

I think the frame should be date coded on the back side of that axle plate where the serial number is- as long as the chain has not come off and damaged the area. Another sign is the tail light frame mount. Tanks are date coded as well underneath the rubber mounting pad but that might not be the original tank

Yes kirrbby. Can't figure out why the 50's are the only ones that have date stamps-at least the only one in my fleet
