My everyday driver for the past 26 years is a 72 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible.
She just turned a 100k miles last year and got great rebuilt overdrive transmission and engine; original rocket 350 got bored and stroked to 424 ci.
She was un-hit until Mar when we got rear ended at a stoplight. Metal is fixed, hope we can paint in September.

Is that pic of a Pontiac GTA with the turbo Gran National motor?

Lol, no that’s an ‘85 T/A blessed with the incredibly lame LG4 305 4Bbl 416 heads TH700R4 and T tops.

I purchased it at the end of May, have been tinkering since.

I’ve done bolt on Dynomax 2.5” exhaust, just picked up an old school Edelbrock 2101 intake and am waiting for Christmas to place my order for a Melling MTC-1 cam.

Sorry to see your Cutlass hit Mike, they’re one of my favourites.

You still have a pic of that GTO? I got a buddy that has had a Musclecar for 20plus years that I should get a pic of and ask everybody here what it actually is. it is VERY rare. I'll give some hints though. It's an all original Catalina, its a '67, it has the original rockcrusher 4speed, and 428 engine. I bet racerx and OLD CT know exactly what it is right off.lol. Any guesses?

I think what you are describing is a full-size Pontiac 2+2.

Just to add to the post, here are a couple of pictures of my son's cars. The Anniversary Edition 2002 Camaro pic is with Scott Settlemire of G.M. (F-Bod-Father) from the early 2,000's.

Here's mine from 1966. Had it nine years before it was stolen for the second time and stripped and gutted.

I had this one until two years ago, when I sold it. It had 36,000 miles on it. '96 WS6 Trans Am.

The story behind that '87 Monte is that my youngest needed something to drive at college in 1997 and I knew he liked Monte Carlo's. I found one locally and we drove it to the airport to pick him up when he was on a college break. I casually said to him, pointing at the Monte in the parking lot, "Hey that looks good, Rich. That would be nice to have." He told me to stop torturing him and I handed him the keys. His jaw dropped and he couldn't even drive it home. Wish I had recorded that.

Anyway the 305, tranny and stock rear are gone, replaced by a built 350, headers, built 700R4 tranny, 3.73 posi, Hotchkiss suspension, fiberglass hood and a repaint.

I’ve got my T/A running sweet. 21inHg at 550 rpm.

ve been gathering parts for this winter. Intake, headers and cam upgrade planned. Really struggling with cam selection, pretty sure I’m way past over thinking it.

I sold my last Mustang about four years ago, it was an '86 convertible 5.0 with a " b " cam, full off road exhaust, and 3:73 gears in the rear. when I first got the car no one was making a shift kit for the AOD trans so my trans guy made one for it. at the same time I had an '86 hatch bac v6 and a '79 fox body cobra that I put a 429 in
