I’m super pumped about this bike, but it’s not coming to Canada as of now and that disappointing. We didn’t get the monkey 125 either

I’m super excited about this!!! I’d like to see a yellow model. I have a 78 Trail 90 that’s yellow and I would love to have a new version of it in yellow. I love my 2020 Blue Monkey and would love one of these new “Trail 90’s”

I have a $500 deposit on one and I can't wait!!! They have this 'Hunter' Edition in other Countries and I'd prefer that over the Red one I'll get (I'm 2nd in line at a pretty huge Honda Dealer here in So. Cal.), but it's no big deal as I'm super excited to get one! Elec. Start. Fuel Injection Disc brakes front AND back. I think the Red will be better as I'll very infrequently drive it on public streets, and when I do the Red in more visible to those, 'turn left in front of you' drivers.

From the responses it looks like there's pretty much zero interest in the new CT125 ABS. I had zero interest in the new 125 Cub, but I sure like this new 125! I see people riding Groms and I think, for that price you could be riding a real street bike. lol

My next door neighbor is ready to buy one and part with his CT100, but there are none available in Southern California. And since dealers are still marking up Monkeys $500 over list, it'll most likely cost ya $5k out the door for a Hunter Cub when they do become available. For well under $1000 you could take a CT110 and drop in a YX140 with electric start, semi auto trans, have a modern classic.

Let me know where that dumpster is, I probably could repair it. No, honestly, you can't beat a factory Honda for reliability, but these Chinese engines have come a long way. I put 5000 miles on a Lifan 140, and although its getting tired, it still runs fine after many years of abuse. Parts are available and inexpensive, and the YX in particular has been around for 15 years now. Plus, for an old-schooler on a budget like me, who still believes in carburetors, it's a good way to go.

I got mine last Tuesday, but I put in my deposit last Sept., and was 2nd on the list. Most Dealers in So. Cal. have only gotten one, some none.

Good for you, I'm interested to know how much over list you had to pay. There's a guy here in so cal who has one for sale on Craigslist and is asking $6000, new, only 50 miles, bought it in Santa Clarita.

One thing I'm wondering though. Honda just announced that the new Grom and Monkey will have 5 speed transmissions. i wonder if this will trickle down to the Cubs.

As long as its being bought or sold in Kalifornia, you can bet your a$$ is will be way over msrp.

Whatcha think of it so far Korbon_Dallas?
It's really fun to ride. Perfect seat height (31 1/2") so I don't get leg cramps riding it like I do my '70CT70. I've have only ridden it around my 500 home gated community, but plan on putting it in the back of my Avalanche and taking it up to Johnson Valley next week. It's where they hold the King of the Hammer Off-Road race. I could ride it behind our house as there's desert everywhere, but with the skinny tires it won't be that fun as there's very sandy areas and even big sand dunes. It is about 4" too long for the bed of my truck, so I can angle it or leave the tailgate down, which I did from Temecula Motorsports to my house in Palm Springs.
