Too much crap

I would THINK so too. Maybe look to see if there is any difference in the shape or look of the gear teeth that mesh into the 3rd gear on the main shaft...those teeth have to WORK together too.
Ok...I will thanks.. my parts books for the cl,sl,ct show all the same tooth counts so I might just use this complete trans to be safe..but if I see a differences I’ll let you know..

Dammit Kirrbby I guess I do need you to look for a good used 26 tooth 3rd gear .. just noticed this big chip in one of the teeth.. just whenever I’m in no real big hurry..or if it’s a pain I’ll just buy the one from vintagehondaminitrails and just hope it’s right even though the part# is different. I am also missed a tooth on 1st gear now I remember why it was up in the attic...lol. It’s a 35 tooth I’ll take one of those if you have also...

Robert it might take me a while to get after this. A death in the family has things pretty messed up.
I kinda have low hopes that I'll have all of the...loose parts, that you need. More likely that I'd offer a complete transmission. That could work for you if you could make one good transmission, out of the 2 that you have...then buy another, good, complete trans.

Ok..no prob...I’ll just tear down one if my motor cores and hope the gears I need are good...sorry to hear about the death in your family...

I know I don't have any handlebars to sell. I would recommend springing for a set of new K1 bars from CHP. I put a set on a bike a while back, and they are NICE. Shiny new and "straight".
I might have a...likely repaired...original K1 pipe, that I could sell, but it would be pretty expensive...over $200...and it will have a repair...patch welded in.
If you're planning a motor swap...you might need a bigger pipe anyway.

Chp has been out of k-1 handle bars for awhile now…anyone know where else to get them?

WTB: 1972-1974 CT-70 Frame

I have a 74 CT-70 that is complete, but the battery leaked and heavily rusted out the rear of the frame. Anybody have one they would be willing to part with?

I think k-0 bars have a different bend than k-1 bars ..I want true k-1 style bars..if im wrong and they are the same someone let me know..I never restored a k-1 so I could be wrong but most k-1 ct’s I’ve seen it seems like the bars are wider out and not so close together as they go up..

The K1 handlebar holder is clocked to give the bars a wider stance than a K0 handlebar holder. The bars may be slightly different too..
Most of it is in the HB holder clocking. Just wait for the CHP bars unless you want to be disappointed in all the others cheap welds/chrome work. Look at the lever holders and the base areas on the other sellers bars. Moral of the story, Chp bars are worth the wait.

That makes a lot of sense..thanks old ct for the the tip on clocking…I never thought of that.. I have plenty of time to wait being I have still a mountain of other things to do…I’m sure there in one of those container ships sitting idle off the California coast..lol. So it could be awhile!!

I have to come clean here. I think I'm hoarding minibikes. I took a count today and I've got 22 "bikes" + 3 rollers + 14 bare frames and boxes of engines and parts. My lord, I have to get rid of some crap. I have mostly Z50 K1's and K2's, and CT70 K0's and K1's. Any of the really hard to find and real nice stuff, I keep. About 10 or 11 of the bikes are keepers. Everything else is for sale. I'll start posting some pics of what I have. You can let me know if you need something in particular. A lot of this stuff is pretty rough, a lot is just needing some love. Any bike with a matching frame and motor will be sold complete, or frame and motor, or frame and LS case together. I can likely get titles also. I will sell off anything that doesn't sell here on CL or Ebay. I will try to keep my prices cheap for lilhonda members, feel free to let me know if my prices are out of line. Better yet just make an offer. I would prefer you mail me a check than use paypal, but paypal works too. I would even hold something for you as long as you need, so long as I know you definitely want it. I would consider trades, only if you have some of those hard to find or very nice parts to barter with. One way or another, some of this crap has got to go. The first up is a ratty Z50 K2 titled frame with a motor. I'll get a few shots posted in case someone may want the whole bike.
Looking for a good seat for my CT70H.

The first step to a cure is admitting you have a problem.
Looking for front fork sliders for 1970 K0. Mine are bent. Consider the whole fork if it's easier but was able to find most parts. Also I have one bent rim that needs replacing. I will be sand blasting and powder coating but like decent shape.
Thank you be glad to call if it's easier.

Sorry, no help here.
This is likely the very hardest part to find for a K0. Best advice, if you need a original, find one with good re-usable foam and, not too far gone, pan...rebuild as necessary.
It's been said, and I think most would agree, that the original pan, and foam, are pretty hard to beat.

No good lower fork legs to offer. These are (usually) available repop. Good quality repops, and I would recommend them. But I'm not sure if they're available right now..? I have rusty ones, and rusty bent ones. I have been able to straighten them out pretty nicely before, and I can show you how I do it..?
Here it is...check post #141 here

I have good rims, but it's not worthwhile for me to sell them cheap. I could likely ship you one for $40 plus 15 to ship. $55 to your door if you're interested. Actually, that might BE cheap, here in the current craze..?
Let me know if you want to see pics.
