Getting a CT110 Carb on an ST90

@Shamrockwill, you should consider carbon fiber. Maybe a simply designed hose that doesn’t have to look good, I.E. flexible vacuum hose, then create a cover out of carbon fiber. This video on how to make a mold may spark your idea:

I have found the original set up for my '73 ST90. I can let you have this for free + postage if you want?

I emailed DRATV about that boot and they said it might fit a CT110 carb but they weren't sure and it might be too small. Since I purchased the CT110 carb I have from them I'm going to ask if they will test the fit for me. Otherwise I figure I can send the custom boot maker my original ST90 boot and ask them to make one with the correct diameter to fit the CT110 carb.

Well ;

Have you measured the intake you're looking for a boot for ? .

He says 35MM in the description so if it's not much more than that you should be golden .

Sorry it has been so long. Unfortunately the boot from DRATV does not work. Not only could I not get it to stretch around the CT110 carb but also, it is incompatible with the stock airbox. This boot is round on both ends and the hole in the airbox it is supposed to go into is oval. This is the 2nd time DRATV has sold me a part saying it would fit what I was trying to to do with my bike when in actuality it does not. So if you need to be sure a part will fit your bike, it's best not to rely on them for that information. Other than that, they are a great resource.

With some heat and a little lube, that boot can be made to work. If the 110 carb is too short from front to back to reach the snout of the ST90 air filter box, consider using a thicker carb to manifold spacer. These can be 3D printed or carved from hockey puck rubber. Works great.

I just went through this with a vintage shifter boot ~ they don't make one for my application so I let the new standard boot warm up in the sin then forced it into place by brute force .
