I just checked. (first start and ride was yesterday) The tail light DOES flash dim/medium bright with the signal on engine running or not. When brake is applied, tail light goes to full bright and does not cycle. Headlight is not on with engine not running, it does not dim or cycle.
signals are grounded though the mount stems with only one connection wire. wiring harness is new as is the battery. Stator is rebuilt by me with original parts, blinker relay is original, so is rectifier.
