That is what i thought. Just wanted to know before buying it so that it will be a replacement then and fit. It is the only one with 4 gears on each shaft. Wanted the 4 speed manuel, it has a sweet 1st gear for climbing hills. Good to know that the 3 speed will also fit.

place a digital meter on it to see what it is drawing then you will know. Like the others said replace rectifier and make sure battery is hooked up then test again to get right the volts. If not run new wires to light they go bad and short out blowing the light.
