TB and most bearing-type heads have the late-70 chamber.
Use the Trail Bikes TBW0219 piston, in an 88 kit.
Combo packages take a lot of the guesswork out. $350 gets you a new head with cam, sprocket, bore kit, carb kit, manifold.

The Spangler link is in violation of minimum-advertised price on Trail Bikes and Piranha products. Both distributors have strict policies about this (because of T-Bolt, mostly) about listing their products below MSRP. That makes it look like they are not an active retailer.

A flywheel weight make them a bit less unmanageable. I rode 82 and 83's when they were new. Watch out, chopping the throttle in any loose stuff. I got thrown off a few times. lol
Any of the bigger engines will move the exhaust farther forward, and likely exceed the flow ability of the stocker any way.
125/140 engines will require spacing the peg bar down with longer bolts and some spacers/washers.
It's tough to beat the Honda Trail Bikes kits, for bang/buck and product support (from a reputable dealer, any way...)
88-95-108-117 kits, and lots of mix & match options available.
Wed and Fri evenings are good for me. Boring the 72cc jug to 50-51 isn't too big a deal, but the painted TB one cools nice and about the same cost as a +4mm overbore.
Early Z/CT heads have decent ports and valve sizes. A mild bowl-port compliments the extra cc's. Stock pipe will hold top end...
