If you would like this gasket, then just let me know...
What Flash is refering to is probably not your problem. He is talking about the knob on the front fork being engaged in the front brake hub. I am sure you have this in the correct spot. I would check your axle bolt for trueness, and your hub for warpage. Did you sandblast it during your...
You can go to my link and download any picture you want. You should be able to open the pic and then right click and download. Otherwise there is a download link at the top left side of the picture if you are looking at the pics in the initial film strip setting. Once you open up my link just...

The red lube is an assembly lube. It is for putting an engine back together. It provides extra lubrication during the first starts after a rebuild. As to the gasket sealant, I put it on each gasket. However, I shouldn't have put it on the head and cylinder gasket...
Turn Signals
I don't know for sure if your wiring will be quite the same, but here is the link to my pics. I just finished mine up yesterday.

Hope you find something helpful. Wiring diagram is at the bottom of the pics. All the parts minus the black 18...
Turn Signals Finished
I finished the project and added the wiring diagram to allow for hookup without modifying original wiring. You do of course have to modify the turn signal wires and power wire to the turn signal switch.

shock cover installation
The shocks I used actually installed from the bottom of the shock, unlike the originals. So I didnt have to work with the tool to compress the shock assy on the top end. The nut on the shocks I used is on the bottom shock mount.
There are tools out there that...
Chrome,
Just my personal opinion, but try to do most of your business with DrATV. CHP always gave me trouble when I needed to return a part that I had a problem with. DrATV was always helpful and listened to my problem and was there for their customer. Good luck with your restoration. If...
Just a note on the touch up pens. I have used them and I let the base coat dry for a whole day and then tried to go over it with the color coat and the base coat paint mixed with the color coat when I just touch the paint a little with the tip. I think the paint pen paint is made to not dry...
Turn Signal Update
I just finished putting on the rear turn signals. I made the bracket so that I wouldn't have to modifiy the bike in any way and allow for the positioning I wanted. I originally was going to put them on the license plate bracket, but they seemed to be kinda out there to far...
Turn Signals
Thanks BTCook - I finished up the front tonight and will make the bracket tonight for the rear. I have to get some 18 guage wire to run the power back to the rear signals and then hook everything up. I also have to paint the rubber sleeve for the harness from the switch with...
Turn Signals Project
I am adding turn signals to my bike. Here is a link to the folder for pics and descriptions of each pic. I am still working on the rear bracket, so look again later for the complete project. I did a temp wire install last night and everything works great. I will provide...
Brian,
Since I have a KPH speedometer/odometer that was designed for 12 Volts, the highbeam indicator has a plastic washer in between the connector and the housing. The highbeam wiring has two wires instead of one on my original assy. I made a small spring out of wire to ground the light...
Question about sandblasting
RRan,
I can't be for sure what you are referring too, but hopefully you are talking about the frame decals. I did sandblast all the body parts. The sandblaster I used was at my base. I am in the Air Force and we have a hobby shop. The sandblaster was so low on...
