    Yes turning it clockwise to have no clutch is what I want. Thats what I did BUT it does not work. I still have clutch engagement when turned all the way clockwise. The bike still goes forward in first gear when in this all clockwise position M

    Ok. I have adjusted the clutch per the above prior to this post. When the screw is all the way clockwise the clutch still engages too much. So something inside must be worn or damaged. M

    I need to loosen it more, but it won't turn clockwise any more. So something must be broke ir bent inside

    What you said makes sense. But at the full clockwise rotation if the screw, I have resistance. If I put in gear it will go. So I need to get less

    Auto clutch was engaging too much. Backed off the nut, and turned the screw clockwise all the way. The auto clutch is still engaging too much. Is there a spacer or rod inside that could have worn out? I have the parts book, but nothing stands out as to what it could be. any help would be...

    There are 2 part numbers 15650-051-690 = CT70= more oil 15650-098-730 = CT70H They are different lengths, but first is superceded to 730 one. M

    I just received a replacment dipstick for a 1970 CT70H. It was a different length, giving less oil to put in as mark was lower. I pulled the DS out of my 72 & it matched the new one. Both take 0.8 liters. So how could they operate at different oil levels, with the same 0.8 liters
