Let me rephrase. I cant get the throttle cable removed from the elbow on the top of the cap. The part under the rubber boot.

I purchased a PZ19 from weblic and my stock 1991 throttle carb cap is too small to fit on the carb. My problem is I cannot for the life of me remove my stock carb cap from the throttle cable to use the one that came with the PZ19 carb. Any tricks or ideas? Thanks in advance.
