I've got a '68 z50 and a '79 z50 on ebay. Both have been targets of scam buyers. People who win the auction, then want me to send payments request outside of ebay, or give me address, etc so they can send a cashier's check. Same old scams, just didn't know it was so prevalent on ebay these...

Both are my auctions :). I was surprised the tank sold so fast.

Shouldn't be too difficult to make the flat piece. Do you have a jig saw that you can put a metal cutting blade in, and a welder or a drill so you can just screw the two pieces together? Lowes and HD sell metal that you can by to fab the part. Wouldn't be a hard part to make yourself, imo.
