Due to my broke ankle and lack of work, I had to sell these bikes. Got to where I needed the money a week ago.lol. The K1 I've had over ten years. Lots of memories on that bike. My little girl Sharon probably rode 600miles with me on it. The Z50 she learned to drive on and her friend Chanda. Bikes went to Nebraska.:12:. I have no motorcycles left now, but I still have tons of parts. Tried to sell those too, but the guy wasn't interested in the parts. I did tell him that he would need to become a member here to keep them running and get an education from the archives. He comes down for the Tulsa Chili bowl every year(races) and took them on his way back home. Said he wanted them for camping. He was a pretty nice guy.

I don't think I will. I'm too addicted to this website.lol. My brother still has his 74K3. When that guy and I came to my brother's shop today to pick up my K1, my brother kept looking at me like,"...are you sure you wanna do this?".lol

No he doesn't, but placek59 lives in Nebraska. He was just wondering what area they went too. 308 area code. Thats what the guys number started with anyway

Thanks. I've lost 4 of them since last summer now.lol. I do still have a rebuildable K0 engine, complete anyways and was always in a garage. No exposure issues

Dang CJ - sorry to hear of your woes. But the good news is that now you have time to dream of a new build and find a little cream puff (when the time is right) to build a new little bike that you and the daughter can build as a family project (like I'm doing with my Duckie Mo-Mo).

Keep checking in and let us know how you're doing. :3:

Thanks. It will probably be sometime before I get another. My brother still has his K3. Been wanting him to get the seals for his front shocks so I can do another step by step thread(he's so freakin cheap.lol). Never have rebuilt front hydro forks before, so it should be a good thread with all kinds of mistakes.lol

Just a temporary setback no doubt. There's more where those came from and with all your parts it won't be long before you start a new build thread.:thumb:

That's terrible news. I hope you end quickly and find a new toy
You hope I END quickly?LOLOL. I know that's just a typo, but it made me laugh. I had viral vertigo for over two months, then 3 weeks later I twist the crap outta my ankle, all the while going through a divorce. Things could be worse, but I've seen better days.lol

Yes, I can't wait to do another build thread. I actually had to replace the clutch springs in the Z50 before the guy came to get it. What shouldn't have but taken me an hour to do, ended up taking about 4 or 5 hours.lol. It was quite frustrating to do with a broke foot, but I managed.lol. It is painful to drive my 95 Lesabre because it forces me to bend my ankle for the throttle....but my 91 Sonoma with a 5speed standard is easy because there's enough legroom from the dash that allows me to Stomp on the throttle down. it's also easier to get in and out of.

Ouch! The divorce is the worst of all of it. Couple words of advice as you consider a new woman. Requirements...Good job, loves sex, preferably ugly with a good (IYO) body. That's it. Happily ever after.
LOL. You da man kirrbby. My ex wife and I have actually been seperated for 2yrs, but OVER for over a year. Last year I had a girlfreind for a VERY short time. Turned out to be a greedy little nightmare.lol. However I met just a couple weeks ago a very sweet lady and have talked to her every day since. She's about my age and is a Nurse. First woman I've ever actually enjoyed talking to and look forward to it.lol. Very smart and straightforward. Doesn't smoke, drink, cuss, ect., and takes good care of herself. Best of all, SHE LIKES ME! lol. I wont post a picture of her here because she may not want that, but I will text you a pic kirrbby. I assure you she is fine lookin, long hair, about 5'5", I'd guess 155lbs, and has a beautiful smile. Someone said that we were at least 97% alike and should meet. WOW was I shocked.lol. I'm glad I finally agreed, even though I'm on crutches.lol. You can post your response to her pic here.

CJ, that is a fine lookin female. And the part about her liking you...that's important too.
I'm giving that lady 2 thumbs up, based on what I know right now.
But I'm gonna keep my eye on her :)
