Adam, who painted that yellow special you posted a picture of?
I have a pic set of this bike somewhere on my computer's drive. I use to use these pics to torment HornetGod who really hates the color CYS. Understandable, because the paint often looks putrid when neglected.
It's a concurs restoration CYS HK1 but other info is unknown to me.:yellow70:

Just noticed, the intake manifold bolt has a nut at the end of it. This tells me the carb body threads, may have been stripped. I have run into this prob before. I wonder if that detracts from a concur resto?

Dont know why they would not have fixed that, but I don't think it was a concours because of the Dax only grab handle. Who knows, maybe they thought it was missing. Sure is a nice bike though for sure.

CJ, I picked up a new point access cover today, still in the Honda wrapper, and a new front axle. I'm still waiting on a key for the nice helmet lock to arrive, but I will send it out as soon as it gets here. The only ignition switch that I have is a KO, and the only head is an M7 with bad spark plug threads.

You guys have been sooo generous. Thankyou.
Old CT helped me sort out the ignition switch I have and we determined its a K0 switch. I was just keeping an eye out for an E10 casting because its a K1. No biggie though, it was just a thought. Where did you find a new access cover at? NOS? I do need the K1 axle. Dont know what happened to the one I had. I think it went to a member here that was converting a K0 to hydro's. The nice helmet lock will look good with the new CYS paint for sure. Thanks

David at Mike's MiniTrail asked me to post this :

We want to thank all the lilhonda members that have sent us parts to paint for CJ. The frame is painted and ready to be shipped out next week. We appreciate the support of the group and thank you for the offers to assist with shipping but we at Mike's MiniTrail Restorations have it covered. Can't wait to see the finished bike and remember to keep the rubber side down.

Big X2 on that. Mike refunded my 15 shipping bucks yesterday, and thanked me for helping with the project.
Pretty cool what he's done for CJ, and lilhonda I spose. What comes around goes around IME...and that is, as it should be.

Totally agree with what goes around comes around. Thanks to everybody who is assisting with CJ's build, especially Mike and David for the awesome paint and body work.

Thanks guys. From what I saw from the pics, I think that the CYS that David and Mike did looks fantastic. It will look even better out in the sunlight. I was thrilled to see the shocks and especially the decals. I'm pretty sure I couldn't get them straight.lol. Does anyone know where to get accurate side badges and what adhesive is used to stick them on? I have no idea what Honda used for the glue.

The originals are hard to find at an affordable price, best bet would be pick up a aftermarket set. They all had/have their own glue/sticky stuff on em.
