Hi. New to the forum. I have a 1968 Honda CL90 that had been sitting for about 12 years. It's in good shape overall but would not run. Points smoked when start attempted. I replaced points, condensor, spark plug and coil (aftermarket). Installed solid state regulator/rectifier.
Found stator grounded to frame. Replaced stator.
Engine started and idled well but had poor acceleration. Missing, sputtering, power in bursts.
Cleaned carb and installed rebuild kit. No help.
I want to install a new aftermarket carb. I'm finding that carbs advertised as fitting tle Cl90 don't fit. The carb on the bike has a slanted flange mount and holes are 44mm center to center. Replacement carbs don't have the slanted flange and holes are 48mm.
My carb has L90A stamped on the flange. Keihin.
Anyone know of a carb I can put on this bike? Thanks, Mike
