I don't think I've ever posted a poll.

I've been planning to build a bike with lots of patina. Plans are for it to be a rusty lookin CT70 with a shiny new big engine, exhaust, and rear shocks. Not really a rat bike...but dirty rusty ratty lookin, and maybe a patched up seat. Ugly!
I thought I would start with a burnt and faded gold K0 that I've had for a loong time. But this bike has NO decals left on it. I don't think I could do without the decals, so I'd have to try adding them, them making them look crappy to match the frame.

I also have a good and rusty, ugly, green, K4 that would fit the bill pretty nicely.

So, what do you guys think would be the best candidate. Please help me decide.

The K4 not only highlights the...ummm...patina, it's the better choice all-around. It has the added internal bracing, rear wheel arch dimple to accept a larger battery and, with all of the unobtainium parts missing, the chances of this specimen ever being restored to concours/purist standard are slim-to-none.

1975 Mighty Green K4 would be my choice!

O'course I would repaint the frame using a British racing- green color, was an idea I once had.
