Incorrectly listed as a 72, but looks like a 70 H model to me

This listed as a 72 model. Looks like my 70 H model to me. Nice shape. Ends soon for $2500. In SC area. Listing number 264397145878.

HK0 model manufactured somewhere between 1970 - 8/71. Model year declarations were not used until the fed compliance requirements took effect in 1975. For titling purposes it's simpler to go by DOM.

Back in the day, dealetships usually used the sale date as the model year...which has resulted in a lot of confusion.

No one bit. It seems the bars are pretty bent up as well as the rear shocks. Probably has been jumped a lot.
2500 is a stretch for this bike.

In my neck of the woods, $2500 is in the ballpark assuming it's as described. But as racerx pointed, the pics don't help any at all. It may be a super nice bike or need some TLC. There is something about the carb that does not look right. Too bright and shinny and the intake to air cleaner looks too long. I would want to see some hi-res pics before I laid out any cash.

Absolutely agree. I'd want to know the net value. That means taking the value of a bike the way you want it to be, then subtracting what it will take to get it there from the asking price. In the real world, it's not always so crystal clear, i.e. mathematically precise. (There are other factors which affect the net delivered cost...including shipping/transportation costs and rarity.) When details are unknown, you're gambling...I'm not a gambler. So, any questionable items are considered as things that have to be corrected, or replaced, their potential cost subtracted. That's where it becomes the sellers responsibility...to accurately present and that means details.
