Hi there,

Looking for a '71 Z50 K2 front fender. Surface rust is ok. No need for a pretty one just a straight, usable one.
I don't have any front fenders for Z50's. Sorry bout that. I don't have too many Z50 parts anymore.

i'm looking for a rear fender and chain guard for my 1970 CT 70, my cousin is looking for a roller
I don't have any chain guards. I think I have a couple rear fenders tho. I'll see what I can come up with.
I have a couple, mostly complete K0 CT70's in rough shape that have recently become available.both have pretty straight frames and non-matching engines. I'd take 550 for one of those bikes. I could probably strip one back to a roller I spose...roller is a pretty broad term. Maybe best to just work a deal for the parts that he's after.
I don't have a lot of time right now for peddling parts. But if he's not in a rush... and he can send me some specifics...we might be able to sort it out.

I only need 1st gear. Have a good one?
I also saw what looks like a '77 Z50 fuel tank back towards the beginning of this thread. I'll try to pull the picture forward.
I have gears. I could send you one for cheap I think.
That 77 tank was sold a while back tho. I don't think I have a softail tank to offer you.

,..I looked back and found that pic on page 2 :)

If you come up with a gear just let me know a price and how you prefer to be paid and we'll make it happen.
No problem on the tank. I know this thread has been going for a while. I just figured I would ask. It was a perfect match for the one I have that is rusted out.
Thank you sir.

Cool. Ya, you can definitely come out and pick it up...pretty much any day that works for you. I'm typically working, and home by 4:00.
I'll get the bike out of storage and into my garage...probably in a few days. Then I can take a good look at it, so we both know what you'll be getting. I'll keep you posted. I'll find a fender for you too and post some pics.

So is this bike for your cuz, or is it for DrBuzzard himself?

i'm going to pick it up and it stays at my house, he has 30 days to pay me or its mine and we have already had this conversation. i'm available to pick it up any Saturday or Sunday, fighting traffic to get up to you is do-able but tough and it would give me an excuse to stop at rocky's

It wasn't as complete as I thought. I've added and swapped parts to make it more complete, and more correct. It is ROUGH. The motor is mostly junk...I knew it would be. This bike had water in the cases, and sat that way for a LONG time. I will include a good used trans, clutch & gears, kick shaft, shift shaft, and a used right side engine case since this one is broke at the top mount. I don't have a good crank tho.
I'll also add a few more bolts and a wheel spacer if I have one.

The frame looks really straight...I can't find a ding. And it has a VERY nice head/vin tag, if that matters to you. Front end looks decent for sure. Wheels seem ok and spin free. None of the rust in the frame looks deep to me...good and solid frame. The muffler is a service replacement part and is...a nice part that rusted right in half at the "normal spot".
I'm not going to try to list every flaw because there are a lot. But I've tried to make this a good fair deal for the both of us, and I lay it all out in plain view for all to judge. If you are not interested, I understand and there will be NO hard feelings.
If you want more pics, I can get them. This bike is handy at home now.

I actually like this bike. I could put a motor in it and ride it, dirt and all. I like the "patina" :)

Kirby,

I’m in search of a rear brake pedal, I think 69-72 perhaps will fit.

Let me know if you have one you want to part with.

All of the ones I have are junk. Wish I could help you. I'll keep you in mind if I come across anything good.

I came across this fender at storage so I brought it home too. I can probably show you a couple others when you're here too. This one is very straight, but has some pitting. All I did was wipe it off with a wet rag. It would shine up and look pretty good.

I have a crank from the ST70 engine I just pulled apart for the 4 speed gears if that would be of help.

The SL70 would have a different crank in it...4speed type. I do have a couple of those. It's the 3speed version that I have trouble keeping on hand. I have plenty of them, but they all click when I whack em :)

Welll... You can put the lipstick on the pig...but that hog is still UGLY!
lol
Thank you too my friend. It's good for me to let one go. I hope it works out well for you and Cuz. But if something goes sideways...bring it back and I'll return your cash. I still like that ugly ol swine :)

Stop by again any time.

That bike looks to me to have alot of potential. I would, though, put a ziplock bag or something over that open intake and plug hole.
