Hey everyone. I was able to get a few things done today. Here’s my seat latch. And after installed.
Hey man, I took your advice while I’m waiting on my rear hub assembly to come in. I went ahead and ground the head of this lower shock mount bolt down for clearance. I hope this is enough!!! ThanksI have a stock length aluminum swingarm along with those same or at least very similar shocks. I didn't have to shim them nearly as much, but I did use 2 flat washers on the inboard side.
Two other things... are the top mounts loose on the frame stud? I had to use 10-12mm bushings to take up that slop.

And, did your swingarm come with any other hardware? The lower bolt on the left side may end up not clearing the sprocket, or at least the chain. Mine came with a special bolt for that side with a slim head. I'm running a 32t sprocket.
i like how that tucks tight under the seat. nice job.I made this bracket so I could mount my tail light.

Does anyone know a good fix for this. It seems that my right foot peg isn’t far enough away from the motor and kick pedal. Does anyone make about a 3” foot peg extender for this??? BTW... that’s my dog “Toby”. He really likes working on the CT70 too
Lol... maybe next build. You could always just fit only genuine honda parts (including the engine) throughout the build and have a trouble free experience cos everything would fit correctly. You'd have no stress, you wouldn't have to do any cutting, shimming or modding and you'd still have a cool bike......... sounds like a plan to me LOL
Dude...I hope so. I wannabe road tripping this baby!!!! I can’t wait!!!lookin good.. man that thing is gonna be LOUD.
