1973 ct70 mystery

I recently got a really clean 1973 CT70. What I'm trying to figure out is why the wiring harness seems to be wired for blinkers (light green and orange? wires going to the rear, in addition to the brown taillight and green with yellow trace)? And it has a blinker switch. But I don't see any witness marks for blinkers, the front ears don't have holes in them...It's definitely a '73, SN CT70-210XXXXX.

The harness looks as old as the bike. I know the previous owner, and if he would have taken them off he would have told me.

Can anyone give me some clues about this?

You have a K2. They came from the factory with everything needed for signals, except the signals themselves.
It's the tweener...tween K1 CT's without signals, and K3 CT's with signals.

Agreed I’d like to see a few pics too, the little bit Iv been in this hobby Iv noticed that Honda did a lot of prep work for the next model sometimes. It makes it really hard to know EXACTLY what model you have sometimes.

My K3 CT90 (11/70) has the turn signal switch, wiring, and the turn signal indicator on the speedometer installed from the factory but no actual turn signals!!! It’s crazy but around that year it was “dealers choice” when it came to turn signals as they weren’t legally obligated to be installed at that time. When I say dealers choice I don’t mean Honda dealerships I mean Honda importing bikes to the US.

I would be interested a set of blinkers for my K3

Here is what I have. All lens gaskets are there (one new) but lenses need replaced as they are cracked and chipped. Message me a fair offer and please include $18 for shipping. Thanks
