Points won't open or close now

Okay, my points were fine, but I checked and they seemed to be gapped a ~.008. I Tried to close them a little bit and now they won't open at all (thus my bike won't start!)! The flywheel cover is on b/c I don't have a flywheel puller. I was just doing it through the slots.

Can someone walk me through fixing this so I don't have to pay the mechanic who charges 90$/hr. Not to mention, I'd have to get it towed down there. Argg!

Youtube has a video on point adjustments for the CT with the flywheel on. May want to check that out

you just opened them too far there not contacting the lobe on the in side of the cam is all go the other way with them and they will open back up.
