    1971 CT70 KO - Carburetor Question

Ok. Thanks. Also, the idle still spikes on its own when i'm in neutral or first - I have to open the throttle which will spike it even higher and will then bring it back down to a lower idle. Any idea what could be causing that?

    1971 CT70 KO - Carburetor Question

@OLD CT @ktheake I replaced the point and set the gap to .016. Then, I moved the needle to the middle slot and confirmed that the float was 20mm from the gasket mating surface. The bike seems to be idling much better now, but when I bring the idle up to around 1300 RPM, it still struggles to...

    1971 CT70 KO - Carburetor Question

@OLD CT @ktheake I've attached a pic of the points below. Assuming I should replace it but wanted to confirm. Also, should the condenser be replaced at the same time if I replace the points?

    1971 CT70 KO - Carburetor Question

Yes, the carb is completely clean. I’ve checked the emulsion tube, and all the holes are clear. The float bowl measures about 20mm from the gasket mating surface to the top of the float, with the float just touching the needle. This measurement is based on what I found on DrATV. Regarding the...

    1971 CT70 KO - Carburetor Question

Hello, I’m working on my 1971 CT70 KO and am having some trouble getting it to idle consistently at 1300 RPM. The bike is mostly original, except for the HT7A carb that I recently rebuilt and installed. While the bike runs, it's not as smooth as I'd like. Occasionally, the idle will spike on...

    FOR SALE CT70 Carburetors 533A & HT7A - Trade for AT7B Carburetor

Hi, I have two CT70 carburetors available for sale. The first one is stamped HT7A. It has been ultrasonic cleaned and is in working condition. I believe it's for a 1971 CT70H KO. The second one is stamped 533A, which I think came from a 1972 CT70 K1. This one may need cleaning, and I'm unsure...

    1969 CT70 Engine Noise

Hello, Does anyone here have an affordable mechanic they'd recommend in Los Angeles who can take a look at my 1969 CT70? It's making a tapping noise, which I thought would be solved with a valve adjustment, but that didn't help. Sorry if I didn't post this in the correct thread - I'm new...

WANTED: CT70 Kiehen (HT7A) Carburetor Rebuild Kit

@kirrbby Thank you! Thats what I figured. No one seems to have it. However, I found this in another thread: https://keyster.jp/?pid=133628552 Any idea if the carburetor on the ST70 is the same as the one I have? It looks like they have the emulsion tube here, but I'm unsure if it will work for...
