    Frame and engine serial numbers, do I have an original motor?

    I have a project CT 70 that I'm wondering about. The frame tag has the date of manufacturing as 9/71 with a vin of 2010992 The engine is stamped CT70E-211143. My assumption is that this is an early K1 with a later motor. Can I get some help with this? Thanks.

    Main Bearings turning in races

    I split the cases on a K2 motor and the main bearings were easy to get out of the cases. It looks like they may have been turning in the races. I removed the crank with the bearings on it as well as the cam sprocket. Is this motor toast? How do you get the cam sprocket and main bearings off...
