Hey Guys, Thank you for the help on the electrical. Fix the issue with the ignition switch and taillight was a grounding issue with both. Got the bike all put together this week and got it on the road. It is running great and couldnt be happier. I have run into two last issues. 1. The...

Ok so just checked the switch. The green wire is plugged in. But you guys have a good point about the grounding of the key. The frame was powder coated and the ignition may not be grounding because of the paint. However to OLD CT the battery is new and fully charged and still not getting any...

Hey the bike is really coming along right now. Started the engine for the first time it runs great. I have run into an electrical issue. The highlight works perfectly and switch as well. The worm only works intermittently. The tail light doesn’t not work at all. The biggest issue issue is that...

Hey guys thanks for the help on the wheels. In the end I got it figured out and the wheels are rotating smoothly. My next questions now is with the Engine gaskets. I am starting to put the engine back together and so far has been fairly painless (knock on wood) and the gaskets are sticking...

Yes the collar is installed. I haven’t installed the speedo gear yet so the issue shouldn’t be coming from that. The hub cover was a paint issue as I was able to fix that this morning. But the bearing within the hub is still and issue. It rotates but not very well.

Hey guys the build is going great but I have couple questions. 1. I made the rookie mistake and forgot to label with axle is which and I now see one is longer than the other. My guess is that the longer one is for the rear. 2. When I pushed the axles through the front hub. The hub does not...

I have another question. I have started to gather some of the body parts that needed replacing but I am now stumped when it comes to battery and battery box. My bike didn’t have a battery box or battery when I bought it. Since I am looking into using a 12v system. Would a 1990’s battery and...

I am going to replace the stock carb with a VM20 carb. The Stock exhaust is going to be replaced with a Thumper exhuast. Is the only way to check if the needle bearing cam will fit is to purchase and see if it fits?

"Based on what you're trying to do, I'd recommend adding a hotter cam such as the "fast road" cam offered by dratv. It's really just the SL/XL70 grind but, it'll wake-up an 88cc kit, especially when paired with advancing ignition." In my search of the cam I have only found two cams on DrAtv...

Thank you for all the replies. I am in the process of tearing the bike down and planning on what to do still. Also OLD CT I had similar ideas on the front fork and I have been looking into either K1 and K2 fork.

I have been cruising around these forums for the last month. I then pulled the trigger on an early 70's ct70 k0. It is in need of some serious work but I knew this before getting into this project. My plan is to keep the bike as original as possible. I do plan on make a couple modifications...
