    headlight/brake light question

My brake light works very faintly and tail light is working properly, I am hoping adjusting the switch that goes down by the brake pedal along with the brake cables gets that signal a little stronger. As to my headlight, the low beam still is not working so I'm going to fiddle with the wires a...

    Lifan 70cc shift lever

I should have been more specific. I'm not using a real heel shifter, moreso doing the actions of putting my entire foot in front of the shift lever and using my ankle to lift up on the lever. So misuse of the term/word 'heel shifting' by me earlier. That's a good idea on making a true heel...

    Lifan 70cc shift lever

that shifter from t bolt is intriguing. I may try that down the road. I pulled the cover and was able to install it once the cover removed. 'It' being the lifan shifter. Lifan 70cc shift lever

I am finishing up the install/build of my lifan 70cc in my K1. The shift lever seems very short, and on top of that it sits very low in relation to the foot peg making up shifts quite difficult. Anyone else experience the same or have a solution that doesn't require big modifications? I am...

    headlight/brake light question

Well I have been fortunate to not hit too many snags on my K1 rebuild. It has the Lifan 70cc motor and also the 12volt back to 6 volt converter harness. Hindsight I would have just converted to 12volt but that ship has sailed. Now to my issue, the headlight switch when it is on L position no...

Brake cables - which side runs where

Thanks, that makes sense wouldn't want to endo inadvertently grabbing the wrong lever and its easiest to grab the non throttle side. :monkey:

Brake cables - which side runs where

Pretty basic question but it is really bugging me, which brake lever is for which brake cable? I have a K1 semi automatic I am building and am having trouble discerning if the front brake cable affixes to the throttle side of the handlebar or the non throttle side? Thanks, Rick
