Took the old trail 70 down to south florida to finish breaking her in over thanksgiving weekend. Had some great times riding around all the trails down there and also some good street riding. Great weather all around and had some good times letting everyone try out the bike.

Well I tried to sort the wiring out in my bike again today. Im not sure where I went wrong but now the key shocks me really badly when I go to shut it off. The shock doesnt start until the key is actually in the "off" position. Does anyone know what I hooked up improperly this time?

Would it be dangerous if I cut off that little tab? Seems like it would since then dangerous oversteer could occur on a rough bump. Only reason I ask is the one on my bike is tweaked. I Searched but didnt find any discussion about this.

I have been looking at those cheap replacement bars on ebay. I know those dont come with the welded on part for the handles. Is there a clamp on type of levers that can be used instead?
