61T NOS sprocket that could fit a CT70?

Thanks. This confirmed I won't be trying it myself. All I have is a drill press. I have gotten better at getting things centered, but always seem to be off on one hole! I really try too...using a punch and pilot holes. Most things I fabricate it is OK, but I had a feeling that anything off...

61T NOS sprocket that could fit a CT70?

Thanks for the 420/428 info. Climbing stairs (well, steep grades) is what I do with my CT200 (what they called the '65 CT90)...it has a 68T sprocket. I was planning to use this 61T on another CT90 I built up, as the dual sprocket CT200 set is hard to come by. I have to settle for the 14T/51T...

61T NOS sprocket that could fit a CT70?

Posting this if the sprocket may fit a CT70. Sorry I can't post a photo because an image is only postable using a URL and I have a PDF. I bought a 61T rear sprocket on Ebay that was advertised as fitting CT90, CT200, CL90, & CS90. Well, it does not fit the CT90 or CT200. The center hole is...

CT70 & C70 Passport foot bar bolt spacing

Thanks Much! Looks like it just needs painting and new rubbers. I will know by April 2nd if the DRATV adaptor I have will work or not (it spaces the pegs I have down a bit and there could be clearance issues). I will let you know either way. If I do need it, then we can exchange more info...

CT70 & C70 Passport foot bar bolt spacing

I guess his engine stand uses the foot bar/peg mounts rather than the engine mounts. It wasn't clear. Never seen one like that before.

CT70 & C70 Passport foot bar bolt spacing

A picture would be nice. Any idea how much shipping would be? Not big and doesn't weigh much.

CT70 & C70 Passport foot bar bolt spacing

Thanks. I will contact you once I find out about the spacing. I am also shooting a note to DRATV to ask. How much would you ask?

CT70 & C70 Passport foot bar bolt spacing

Thanks, but I think you are probably talking about the two engine mounting bolts. What I am wondering about are the spacing of the 4 bolt locations on the bottom of the engine for the foot bar/peg. Any idea if these are the same for the C70 and CT70? I am guessing they are. This is the...

CT70 & C70 Passport foot bar bolt spacing

Hello, I am putting a Lifan engine in my CT90 and DRATV mentions using a CT70 foot bar to match the bolt spacing on the Lifan. This keeps you from having to use an adaptor. I have found that CT70 Passport foot bars are easier to find on Ebay and cheaper. My question is....do these bars have...

Mikuni VM22-133 now available from SUDCO

I just got an e-mail from my SUDCO contact. The Mikuni VM22-133 now available again. There was a casting issue that caused production to stop. All fixed.

    Passport Leg shield fitment on a '68 CT90 K0

There is a guy who has a website called SelectObsession.com that I found thru the CT90/100 Facebook page that has built 2 really nice bikes, a CT90 and a C200. Check out his builds. He makes it easy because he has a parts list and has built some specialty adaptors to make things easier. He...

    Passport Leg shield fitment on a '68 CT90 K0

I searched for this...and know I have seen it somewhere...but couldn't find it. I am doing an EV project on a CT90. It would be nice to have the controller covered with a leg shield (it will be mounted in an enclosure where the engine was). Will the Passport leg shield fit. I am OK with some...

Lifan 125 in CT90 carb update

Not that old! I am 61...you are a year younger than my brother. He was also an automotive inspiration for me...Triumph TR4A, Karmann Ghia, and Bay Window Bus, followed by a string of Civics after he had kids. Closest I came to your college experience was at the "Bug Doctor" in Lexington, KY...

Lifan 125 in CT90 carb update

Cool story...much like mine except my son is just 22 and finishing school...will be waiting on his GF to graduate in a year to find a job and move out. I was never a hot-rodder but have enjoyed quite a few of my cars over the years, starting with my first in 1975 with a 1961 Studebaker Lark. It...

Lifan 125 in CT90 carb update

Must beat Son! For me, it only because I am a better rider and my bike is so much lighter and easier to fling around. It is me on a Orion RXB150 XL and him on a Honda XR250R. When I break it down we have almost the same power/weight ratio. Me: 14.5 HP/(160 bike + 175 me) = .043 HP/lb. Him...

Lifan 125 in CT90 carb update

Ahh...forgot it was a CT70. Wonder if the 428 sprocket combined with a heavier chain causes case contact. I guess maybe you will find out with the CL90.

Lifan 125 in CT90 carb update

Please let me know if the 18 fits. For me, 55 is about as fast as I want to go..maybe short downhill 60 if that happens...and I have Michelin Street Pilot tires, which smooths things out considerably over dual-sport tires. I start getting nervous on my 250 at 67..it just becomes too twitchy and...

Lifan 125 in CT90 carb update

I was told by TBOLTUSA that 17 was the largest front sprocket for my Lifan 125 without cutting into the cover for clearance. So I got a 17/428 and it is pretty close. Not sure if this is the same for the 140, but I bet it is. You could shoot them and e-mail, I don't think they would have...
