The forks are 27mm. Be careful not to bore them too large.

Kirk, you are correct! You will have to either bore your existing lower clamp or buy the lower clamps to accept the new style 27mm forks. Remember, you'll also have to figure out a way to use some type of fork ear so that you can mount the headlight. It's all about what you want to do with the...

I have to be honest... I think I've spilled gas down the frame of my powder coated bike just about every time I've filled my bike (not something to be proud of, I know). I'm always real concerned about running out of gas and being stranded so I always top off. I've spilled VP all over place too...

I've had those wheels on my bike for about 1300 miles with no signs of premature wear on the hub where the clip holds the sprocket on. I watch it like a hawk, no problems so far... Hey Paul, as far as time goes it should really only take you a day or two to get it mounted up, it might take you more time to sort out the wiring.The only reason why I suggested a new knockoff harness is because it's already wired for the 12v system with wires for the voltage regulator and CDI...

Hmm... How's the bottom end power on the bike? Just an idea, since there are so many applications for these import motors it's possible that the counter shaft sprocket is a 13 or 14 which would give you some good bottom end performance but it would lack in the top end speed of the bike...
