If i were able to cram a second battery in my ct70 and used the yellow wire feeding the headlight with a rectifier to charge it, would I be able to power the headlight this way?

I was wondering if the inner fork tubes from a 72 ct70 can be swapped to a 74 ct70. Mine are pitted on the 74 and need changed. I know the lower parts are different on the 72 because of the metal cover but I want to use the ones that came with the 74.

Will forks from a st90 be a direct swap to a 1974 ct 70? Are the axle diameters the same? Also if I swap them out will the fork ears still fit? Sorry for all the questions.

I am not a expert on this but I think either the clocking or the bends of earlier bars will not work on a 74. I have 2 early 74's and they both have the brake handles. Is it possible to use a 6 volt 35 watt halogen bulb in place of the standard 6 volt sealed beam? Will this throw the electrical system out of balance and would the battery be able to handle it? The halogen bulb is a 35 watt high and low beam.
