Bead blast then lightly rub with OOOO steel wool and or wire brush to bring back lustre works very well. Old cam cover left on to show before and after. Tim

Sample looks good as do the parts Kirrbby has , problem with candy its easy to change color depending on base coat and how many coats you put on, also with these bikes being so old it's difficult to know if you have an original painted part unless you bought it new yourself. Pick what looks...

I have a bn repop that I bought from http://www.z50.com.au/ , it looks exactly like Kirrbby's, it's very well made thick gauge and the chrome is perfect. I had an original that was in very poor condition and it looked to be made exactly the same, very nice product made in Taiwan I believe. Tim

I hope it's not a sign of the end, they have been very helpful to many of us trying to restore our bikes. I know I have slowed down on ordering from them simply because the exchange rate is killing me , driving prices sky high. Tim
