I have rebuilt clutch on z50jz, going up through gears is difficult, going back down is really smooth - any ideas??

I am trying to find a shop manual for my CT70, and only have the original owners manual to go by. For now, what kind, or grade, of oil is required for the clutch, and for the fork? The manual only says that the fork needs 3.5ozs, and says nothing about the clutch. Any help? Thanks
