flasher relay

Hi everyone! I'm in the later stages of rebuilding /restoring a 1973 Honda st90 and my blinkers are not blinking. The light just burns solid when I turn them on. Thinking it may be the flasher relay. I have a spare but it's as old as the other, so I am not sure about either's functionality. How...
