Awesome find Kirrbby! Excellent reference for restoration projects. The speedometer still has the red shift bar and it hasn't faded to yellow. The speedometer cable is easily replaced. The only thing I see that troubles me is the dealer sticker on the chain guard. I wonder if there is anyway to remove it without damaging the paint underneath. Some may like the dealer sticker but, I look at is a shameless branding of someones property. I wonder if a dealership would like it if I went and put my name on the side of their car or motorcycle.

It's cool to know these bikes like this are still out there. I'm only able to see it on a 2" screen right now, but I'll have a good look and save the pics when I get home tonight.

Don't get too excited. The seller went with the basic picture set up so you can't magnify the images.

As far as removing the sticker I've had good luck with a heat gun followed by denatured alcohol. Denatured is great for cleaning, it will eventually start to remove paint but it takes it a long time. You can easily remove sticker goo without removing paint if your careful.

With minimal sun exposure, I doubt there would be a tan line.

I've been to Easton Honda and it was a little brick corner building on Northhampton St in Pa.They are closed now so they wont benefit much from leaving the sticker on.lol.Just like car dealers put them on all cars,so did ''some'' bike dealers, thank goodness not all of em.This is proof not all decals went on straight, just look at the left decal to see.The right side looks better.Lack of documentation is going to hurt this sale,no title, and without a original invoice.I guess it really isn't worth keeping the Easton Honda plate.
