1969 Honda Z50 K1 carb bowl gasket from CHP USA does not fit...??

Has anyone ordered the K1 carb kit from CHP USA and noticed the rectangular carb gasket for the clip on bowl does not fit.. it it to large and has to be jammed in the groove.?? i tried jammin it in the groove.. but of course once gas fills the bowl it leaks bad.. has anyone had this problem and fixed it??

you have got to be kidding... im the only one that has ordered this carb kit and had extra wide gasket that does not come close to fitting the float bowl of this carb???? i tried it and as i expected it was leaking all over... went back to the original 50 year old gasket and it works better,... honda parts last forever... i will call chp and tell them my findings..

i have a 69 z50 K1 - with the rectangular clip on carb bowl.. i ordered the carb rebuild kit from CHP USA that says "Carb rebuild kit, Z50 KO-K2".. all parts fit on perfect to rebuild the carb but the rectangular bowl gasket is way to wide to fit in the groove.. i tried it anyways but it leaked like a sieve. i put the original gasket on and its way better... i will call chp to report this.,.
