I am selling a fully restored 1970 Honda CT 70, 3 speed. Absolutely no expense was spared in the build of this bike. Everything painted was professionally done in Powder Coat that is an exact match of the original Candy Ruby Red. All black was powder coated. The rims, hubs, motor are Powder Chrome.
The head had new valve seats cut and brand new valves, guides, springs, cam, and rockers were installed.
The cylinder was bored 20 over and a new old stock honda piston was installed. Crank and connecting rod were fully inspected by a professional shop. Clutch was rebuilt with brand new springs and discs. The exhaust is brand new stainless exhaust with a heat wrap that is easily removable without residue. The exhaust doesn't fit with the chrome skid plate/engine guard however I am including a brand new skid/engine guard with the sale.
The carb is a brand new reproduction match from CHP. The seat is brand new from CHP as well.
The majority of parts came from CHP or Trail Buddy inc. I have almost all receipts to show over $3000 invested.
The bike has a brand new wiring harness, key switch, and LED headlight. I converted the points system to an electronic ignition and boy does that make a difference. It starts on the first kick every time and it runs FANTASTIC. It also has a brand new iridium spark plug.
The bike has the original tail light and speedometer that reads 1590 Miles. It had 1587 when I bought it. Yes I only put 3 miles on it. The bike was just completed last week.
I will also include the following original parts....Carburetor, front forks, rear shocks, front hub, seat pan (powder coated black), and chain guard.
No shortcuts were taken on this bike. The bike is honestly in better condition than the day it was new.
