Looking for a 1977 motor. VIN should be from 2600001 to 270000. Running or not Thanks!

What you really need, at a minimum, is the LH case half...with the SN. Ideally, it'd be better to get a `77 head casting, too...with its model-correct casting numbers. Those are the only visible differences from other 1970s models. The odds of finding the requisite parts, in descending (i.e. "shorter"/more favorable) order: complete engine, head casting, LH case casting.

Otherwise, the only mechanical differences between any 6V Z50/CT70 lower end is the primary drive gears...and those are easily swapped. Find those two castings and you can recreate a legitimate "numbers matching" engine using any pre-1982 49cc lower end, or 72cc CT70 motor.

Absolulty racer. If it cant be the whole motor the left case and head would be ok.

Here you go. Found you a left hand case, which opens the door a lot wider for getting an engine built at a lower cost.

No idea what the s/n is but let's hope you get lucky. This seller also has a head but it looks a little rough.

Hey Allen. I did see that thanks! It's definitely an option. I'm going to try to find a complete unit first and if nothing I may have to go that route. Thanks again!
