IDK...crashed hard enough to crush the headlight shell & front fender and move the handlebars, but not hard enough to bend the fork legs, front wheel or break the speedometer...wtf?
If this really is the result of crash damage, then the frame & fork legs may be scrap metal. And the handlebars are probably bent to
. The late-type, BMX-style, bars are made from very thin tubing and bend much more easily than the `69-`78 foldable type. These frames are incredibly strong, along the steering head tube area. But, there's nothing really special about a 12v frame.
OTOH, the engine looks like it's had its share of water exposure...along with the shares of a few other bikes.:19: I'd consider the engine nothing more than a buildable/rebuildable core.
