I'm new to this guys. I am interested in a CT70 Clone. How would I go about getting one? Is there one version better than another? I am getting this for my son to learn to ride.
Thanks,
Clark Cummings

The two most popular CT70 clones, in the U.S., are currently the Icebear Champion and the Amigo Rocky. I bought one of each, brand new, in June 2022. I have many videos on my YouTube channel, the same name as my username here.
The bikes are essentially the same, with just a couple differences. The biggest difference is that the Champion has a 4sp semi-auto transmission and the Rocky has a 4sp manual transmission. The Champion powers its headlight by AC, thru the engine stator. Headlight doesn’t come on until engine is running. The Rocky headlight is DC powered thru the battery, headlight comes on with key. The only other differences are cosmetic. The Rocky has black accents, where the Champion stayed with the traditional chrome….handlebars, exhaust, etc.
The best place to purchase either bike is at Cajun Maddogs. Unfortunately, the owner, Alan Adams, is currently battling a health issue and the business is on break until the first of the new year. The are other distributors across the country, but if you’re not in a hurry, I highly recommend using the next few weeks to watch videos, read description of each bike, make a decision on which you want and then order from Alan, when he opens back up.
