Is there a 6V to 12V regulator and/or rectifier available on the market to retain the 6V stator/flywheel but be able to use a 12V tail light bulb?

Come back to this thread and let us know how this does. It says 6v DC input. I could see it running a taillight or maybe a digital speedometer I’d like to know what it can do

Why not simply use a 6 volt LED taillight ? .

I do and it makes the headlight and speedometer lamps brighter too .

Friday afternoon .

The link used is for the single contact bulb, I'll get on this and report back, O.K. ? .

I'm reasonably sure I got mine via Amazon, as mentioned there are many, MANY to choose from so DON'T BUY BY PRICE ! .

In the end you want to buy LED bulbs with as many LED's on each bulb as possible ~ each LED looks like a white square with a yellow dot .

Stand by, O.K. ? you're going to LOVE these, it makes your bikes so much safer .

O.K., I found my old order from 2019, Amazon says that page is gone and when I copied and pasted the description I got this :

Note they almost all say " #1157" and "12 volt" .

The deal is, you choose the one you like (most LED's remember) and then near the 'quantity' button will be another choice button you can click to choose 6 volts .

At the time after I bought, installed tested and liked them I wrote to the seller and told them if they'd change it to "# 1154 6 volt LED STOP / TAIL LIGHT BULB" they'd get thousands of orders because _everyone_ wanted to know where I got them for my various vintage 6 volt Cars, Motocycles and trucks .

If you still have trouble let me know and I'll try to run down an exact hyperlink for you .

O.K. ? .

A bit later, I just tried entering "6 volt led taillight bulbs" and got this : https://www.amazon.com/s?k=6+volt+l...volt+led+,aps,371&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_10_11

Notice many are not double contact .

Also, some mention " CANBUS " this means OPEN POLARITY ~ you can use in negative or positive ground systems = .

I recently recieved a bag of #194 dash bulbs (LED) that didn't mention this and i was well pleased when I tested them and discovered they're CANBUS .

My dash and warning lights are all now BRIILIANT even on the direct sunlight 🥰

I firmly believe that knowledge not freely shared is worthless .

I need to take a picture of my speedo and warning lights ~ they're fantastic .

Loads of knowledge shared here already. There are PLENTY of posts going back quite a LONG TIME about LED's being used here. No one wants to use the search feature here. LOL! Search and ye shall find....

I'm guilty of this too ! .

It takes more time and so many just post a quickie query then pop out and wait .

Some forums have better tracking and mention how many posts each member has made . this helps weed out the scammers and goofs .

So far I'm still here  .
